Receiving Your Diploma Diplomas are ordered after all degrees have been awarded for the semester. Degrees are awarded once all grades have been turned into the Office of the Registrar. Please note it takes approximately 6-8 weeks to receive your diploma. You will receive an email to confirm your name and address prior to the diplomas being ordered. Another email will be sent to notify you that the diploma has been mailed. Please note, all correspondence is to your @uah.edu email account. Address Change Instructions Login to myUAH On the Student Services Card, click on Student Records. Click on the Personal Information link. Locate the Mailing address, and click on the edit pencil. Update information. Please pay attention to the "valid until" box. If this is set to a specific date, your diploma might not get shipped to the correct address. Click on Update once you have made your changes. If you are not able to submit change online, please complete the address change form and submit it to the Registrar's Office. Registrar's OfficeStudent Services Building 120registrar@uah.edu Proof of Graduation Awarding Degrees take approximately 1-2 weeks after all grades have been processed. Students can view their unofficial transcripts once this has been completed. Once degrees have been awarded students may request their official transcript through the Registrar's Office as proof of graduation. Dimensions Doctoral diploma: 11” X 14” Masters and Bachelor's diploma: 8.5” X 11” Information Stated on Diplomas Student Name Graduation Date Degree University Honors (Undergraduates only) Returned/Financial Hold Diplomas If a diploma is returned to the UAH Registrar’s Office as undeliverable or the student has a financial hold on their student account, they will be notified through their UAH email address. The diploma will be held for one calendar year after the graduation date. After a year, the diploma will be shredded and the student will need to fill out a Duplicate Diploma Form to request a new diploma. updated 08/23/24
