Get a head start on your Master of Arts in History with UAH's Joint Undergraduate Master's Program (JUMP)! JUMP allows undergraduate students to take up to 12 hours of graduate-level courses through their senior year. These courses then double-count toward both their bachelor’s and master’s degrees. However, because they pay only once – at the undergraduate rate – they are able to save money and earn their graduate degree in less time. There’s also no application fee, and students in the program are not required to take the Graduate Record Exam (GRE). History majors interested in applying to JUMP should meet the following criteria: Have sophomore or junior standing Have a GPA of 3.5 or better Have completed at least 9 hours of history coursework at UAH, with at least 6 hours at the 300 level or above For more information, contact Dr. Christine Sears at history@uah.edu or 256.824.2573 To download a JUMP application, visit the UAH JUMP website.
