GEM Fellowships

UAH’s Graduate School is a proud member of the National GEM Consortium, which seeks to enable qualified students from underrepresented communities to pursue graduate education in the science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields. In addition to hosting an annual GEM Grad Lab Symposium, UAH also sponsors full-tuition fellowships for qualified students interested in pursuing a graduate degree in a STEM field.

Minorities and Women in STEM-Related Fields

The U.S. Department of Education has forecasted that STEM-related occupations will grow by as much as 60% by 2020. While the field has long been underrepresented by women and minorities, we strongly believe now is an excellent time to help you change that outlook. If you are interested in a STEM field, please reach out to us and we will be happy to get you in touch with a faculty member who can help you start a path to completing your graduate degree.
