Meeting with your Academic Advisor is the first step towards getting registered for class.

After meeting with your advisor you'll be ready to register for classes with Schedule Planner.

You can register for courses by visiting myUAH.

You can drop a course by going to myUAH.

  • Find the Student Services card.
  • Click on the Registration panel.
  • Click on Add or Drop Classes.
  • Choose the Term you are wanting to drop the course and click Submit.
  • Find the course you are wanting to drop. In the Action column, choose Web Drop from the dropdown.
  • Click on Save.

A CRN is a Course Reference Number. It is a 5 digit sequence that is found in front of a course title and number (EX: 91123 EH 101). The CRN can be found through the Class Schedule or within the registration module on myUAH.

Log into myUAH.

  • Find the Student Services card.
  • Click on the Registration panel.
  • Click on Add or Drop Classes.
  • Choose the term you are wanting to add course(s) and click Submit.
  • Enter in the CRN found in the class schedule in the empty boxes below. Click Submit Changes.
  • You should see an error with the message "Registration Add Errors"
  • In the Action column, choose Waitlist from the dropdown. Click on Submit Changes. 
  • The Status should then show that you are waitlisted for the course..

The room assignment for Online courses will have the building code of ONLN and the room assignment as ONLINE. There are two types on Online courses:

  • ONLN: Online Asychronous. This course is online with assignments completed at the student's leisure in Canvas.
  • ONSY: Online Synchronous. This course is online with set meeting times. Your instructor will communicate the online meeting method on the syllabus and in Canvas. 

Remote courses are not considered Online, but are indicated with the building code of REMT and the room assignment as REMOTE. These courses are taught in conjunction with a traditional in-person class. The section number for these courses will have an "R" in the code (ie: 01R, 02R).

A Drop is done when a student drops a course before the deadline to drop with a refund. This deadline is found on the Academic Calendar for each semester.

A Withdrawal is when a class is dropped after the last day to drop classes. A Withdrawal will appear on the academic transcript with the grade of W.

An Academic Advisor will be able to assist you on what courses to take that will go towards your Degree Program.
